Abstract

Implementations of artificial intelligence have provided what was previously unimaginable in providing, educating, and dealing with people with autism spectrum disorder in their various fields in their daily lives, as it empowers them socially and provides them with the ability to develop their abilities in life skills and raise their level of achievement in the educational field, and this can provide many opportunities to achieve development goals. Sustainable Development (SDGs) ranging from biotechnology to neurotechnology and robotics, and one of the robots that help provide care for people with autism disorder, develop skills, and modify behaviors are social robots that simulate emotions and remember people.
The aim of this research paper is to conduct a systematic study to determine the positive effects of artificial intelligence applications in achieving sustainable social development for a group of people with autism spectrum disorder and to consider this as an entry point to achieving sustainable development for this group in special education, while highlighting previous results that dealt with the role of social robots in achieving... Sustainable development goals in mental health and special education, in which a number of ideas were discussed: Can social robots be a useful tool in treating some of the problems that students with autism spectrum disorder suffer from, and the sustainable development goals that social robots contribute to achieving, and it was also discussed Finding that social robots were able to improve spontaneous language; Therefore, robots provide therapists and researchers with a way to communicate with people with autism spectrum disorder in an easier way, but studies in this field are still insufficient and need more. Some social behaviors have also been found that have been improved by social robots in previous studies, such as: participating in Social interactions, gesture recognition.
