Digital citizenship in individuals with autism spectrum disorder Digital citizenship DC plays a vital role in the digital age due to its major role in increasing communication among individuals and those with special needs including autism spectrum disorder in particular. This paper aimed to identify the importance of Digital citizenship to individuals with autism, challenges, how to face them, enhancement, role of organizations and principles to enhance Digital citizenship in those individuals. Desceiptive method was used to explain the phenomenon and address the five questions included in the problem dealt with reflecting how to achieve its aims for individuals with autism spectrum disorder . Paper reveals that Digital citizenship is important to individuals with autism spectrum disorder , and that we can help them acquire, face challenges and enhance Digital citizenship by following behavior modification principles and procedures through families, schools and society organizations.
